We are looking for a passionate safari travel planner with a broad knowledge of Tanzania as destination, excellent computer and numerical skills, a creative mind and good customer service skills. Your responsibilities:

• Quoting and preparing itineraries for our clients (B2B), dealing with your enquiries from the beginning until confirmed
• Taking care of reservations/cancellations/amendments and preparing your files for the Operations Department, with all correct invoices and client details
• Communicating with clients and suppliers by mail and phone in a friendly and courteous manner, with accurate and consistent information
• Assisting the commercial management with supporting tasks, such as preparations of example itineraries, social media marketing, presentations, etc
• Other duties as outlined by the management

Who are we looking for?

• You have a qualification in Tourism Studies
• Minimum 5 years of experience as sales and reservations consultant in the Tanzanian safari industry
• Passionate about creating unique safari experiences
• You are a team-player but at the same time you are able to work individually and remote
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English, spoken as well as written
• Your computer skills are up to date, including Excel, PowerPoint, working in the cloud, itinerary software such as Wetu and TripCreator
• Good numerical skills
